The Regal Isle-2011 Regal Marine Dealer’s Gala!

The MKE team put on their “Event Coordinator” hat to help plan and execute all of the details for the Regal Marine dealer’s dinner at the factory showroom. This off-premise event aimed to provide a fun coastal atmosphere, themed as a “Parrothead Paradise”. Boat dealers from all over the country were transported from the Gaylord Palms Hotel to the showroom to enjoy dinner and awards with the Kuck Family, the owners of Regal Marine.

A nautical outer entry featuring dock lamps, rope and pylons, a 50′ royal blue carpet runner, and lush foliage set the stage for the tropical oasis that was to be found in the interior decor.

A tropical inner entry made from faux cargo crates and a tin roof, decorated with nets and over-sized birds, was flanked with a pair of colorful cool palms as the guests made their way through the showroom’s mahogany doors.

As the guests entered the space, the tables were arranged throughout the showroom floor amongst some of Regal Marine’s most popular boats. The tables were dressed with a vibrant turquoise blue linen and paired with mahogany chairs, topped with bright yellow seat cushions. The tablescape decor continued with honey-wood rattan chargers, yellow napkins tied with raffia, votive candles, and nautical pylon centerpieces surrounded by sea shells at the base.

An elevated deck near the yachts was the location for the dessert and coffee displays. Another 50′ blue carpet runner led to the steel drum-n-dock dessert station, flanked with colorful cool palms and nautical trim-outs. Assorted tables, including the over-sized mahogany communal hi-boys and Jimmy Buffet CD cover bar height tables with bamboo bar stools, allowed for extra seating as the guests mingled, toured the yachts, and enjoyed their sweets.

Perimeter decor throughout the event space featured multiple bamboo reed panels enhanced with various nautical items, paired with a 8′ high coconut palm, accent lighting and foliage.

Our team enjoyed experiencing the “other side” of event coordination in helping the Regal Marine staff execute a great gala!
