A Gift For Teaching
We teamed up with A Gift For Teaching to help provide décor for their Back-to-School Blast! This event helps raise money for under privileged students so that they can have the resources and materials they need to become successful. The MKE décor made a big impact at this event, it was utilized for photo opportunities and also becoming interactive pieces for the attendees.
Our lockers, sports ball tower, and building blocks became the perfect photo op background for attendees to strike a pose using our oversized school supplies. If you look closely to the picture on the right, that’s Chris Kirkpatrick from N’Sync in the middle!
Our classroom style desks were used for attendees to participate in a fun school related trivia game. It brought everyone back to their school days! As you can see from the photos it was an extremely fun event, full of great entertainment all while raising money for a good cause!
UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management’s Cab & Cab
For the third year in a row the MKE team provided décor for UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management’s student produced fundraiser, Cabaret & Cabernet. This year’s theme was a journey through the wine regions of the World. We were happy to partner up with the Rosen students to help make this event a success!
Each designated room around Rosen’s campus represented a particular wine region, so our décor was used to help distinguish each area. We were able to represent Italy in the Courtyard with our Leaning Tower of Pisa statue, Bistro Set, and Living Statue Pedestal.
In the Café we represented California with our Lifeguard Stand Vignette.
Lastly, in the Disney Dining room they utilized our Barrel Hi-boy tables and Street Lamps for Argentina.
The students who put on this event did an amazing job and it really showed how much hard work they put into it!
