The Max King Events team transformed Tampa Bay’s A La Carte Pavilion into a rustic and whimsical Christmas Tree Lot for a company’s annual holiday party, we dubbed “The Tree Lot”. This theme truly put us in the Christmas spirit, and put our creativity to the test, too!
Over 30 faux and real Christmas trees ranging from 4’ to 12’ in height were staged throughout the room, each donning an oversized red sale tag- some sporting the words “Hold for ____” or “Clearance”! The focal point of the room was the shiny white “skating rink” dance floor overlay, corned by a collection of Christmas trees, including two whimsical upside-down trees, and replicas of the trees from the classic Christmas movies, “Charlie Brown” and “Christmas Vacation”.
Festive string lights, supported by weathered timber poles were set in a zig-zag formation over the entire room. Piles of faux snow blanketed the timber poles and tree bases, completing the tree lot look.
Our “Bahama Bob’s” bar surround was modified into “Uncle Ed’s Tree Lot” DJ booth surround, sporting rustic hand-painted signs, wreaths, and more.
“Catfish Charlie’s” got a Christmas makeover as well, becoming a bar disguised as the tree-lot keeper’s campsite! A glowing campfire, whimsical snowman statue, and a “tree” made of classic, colorful Christmas lights completed the camping vignette.
Two more 3-sided bars were created using rustic barrel bars, centered with 12’ tall Christmas trees, wrapped in colorful strands of lights.
