“Art of Wellness” Festival Concept

The MKE team was able to flex our creative muscle when we partnered up with the always fabulous Verde Events to create an “Art of Wellness”  concept for a cutting edge medical company. Our “fresh” ideas for an outdoor art festival allowed for the pairing of pops of color, print, rustic materials, and even a few fruits and veggies!

The entry to the lawn event was marked with our mahogany fire & water columns that were transformed into literal works of art with the addition of “pop art” plexi center panels replicated to match the event linen. The “Art of Wellness” titled the mahogany framed entry header, backgrounded with the same pattern as the plexi inserts to create a cohesive focal point!

As guests entered the event lawn, a “mix and match look” of various seating options were available, including our long dark wood communal tables & coordinating hi-boy tables, along with saloon-style trestle tables. A zig zag of timber post-supported string lighting hung overhead for ambient festival lighting.

Centering the lawn was an interactive Paint by Number display, which allowed the attendees to participate in completing a custom work of art by painting a specific color in the appropriately numbered spot on the panels. Intermixed amongst the oversized easels supporting the Paint by Number artworks were clusters of various frames, huge paintbrushes, and the like to complete the center art feature!

A brand new bar debuted at the “Art of Wellness” event-introducing the Hedgerow Trellis bar surrounds! The bar surrounds are a dark redwood stain, complete with matching wood trellis headers, fronted with a well manicured faux boxwood hedgerow-seemingly blending into the event lawn!

The festival outdoor atmosphere lent itself to allow for whimsical seating options, and we love how well AFR’s Grass & Evoke furniture collections coordinated with the MKE decor! Vibrant pops of colors from pillows were the perfect topper for the colorful art event!
