Max King Events was happy to be a part of the team that put on the Bridges of America event. This charity is the oldest and most successful private provider of re-entry programming in the state of Florida, providing a continuum of care for Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Programs, Transition Centers, and ex-felons and probation populations. This charity event was a great way to raise money for the cause.
The Grapevine Events & Marketing team is always so fun to work with and this program was no exception. From the initial brainstorming process all the way to the day of the event, the Grapevine Events team always goes above and beyond to make an event successful!
Our Tuscan Double Entry awaited guests as they entered through the ballroom doors. Italian style inlays and dark wood combined seamlessly to recreate a long-standing entrance of a winery. Tall faux stucco columns supported a timber framed, barrel tiled roof while authentic wine barrels were molded to the structure and utilized as working wall fountains. The arbor style look was completed with full, lush foliage on all sides of the entry.
Aged 10’ and 12’ Tuscan Columns wrapped in grapevines flanked the remaining ballroom doorways. Grape filled vases were accented by amber up lighting and ferns to design a stunning, yet intimate ambiance. The two sets of columns flanking the main entry way each had an oversized gold gilded frame hanging from the column.
The beautifully crafted words, “Every person deserves a second chance,” and other inspiring quotes were framed in gold gilded frames and displayed on oversized easels that became the focal point amongst the auction tables. This was a great way for attendees to remember the reason they were at the event donating money, while they were looking at all the various auction items The Grapevine Events team was able to pull together.
The VIP area featured one of our 10’ long Plank Buffet tables. Skillfully constructed with heavy timber planks and wrought iron, the buffet added just the right amount of additional table space and was able to corresponded with the charming Tuscan theme. In three areas we placed a 25ft red carpet runner that was paired with a custom step-n-repeat to create a memorable photo op for the event attendees.
Some of the members from the Bridges of America group worked together to create a one of a kind bridge for this event. Since a bridge is a symbol for this organization they thought it would be fitting to have an actual bridge at their event. The fact that there own members were able to create this piece from scratch makes it even more special. The MKE team was blown away by how well it turned out. It was the perfect photo op for this charity event.
