Miami Beach the Golden Era

Miami Beach in the 50’s-60’s was considered the “Golden Years” when the city was full of iconic, deco-inspired architectural elements. That became our inspiration when putting this event together.

Throughout the space we created over-sized frames in various sizes that were grouped together to become eye-catching perimeter pieces. Each grouping featured enlarged replica photos ranging in sizes from 30”x 40” to 68”x92”! Each of the photos featured iconic architecture found in Miami Beach during the 60’s. Swags of black boucle fabric were added to enhance these black and white photos.

For this event we enhanced our Black & White Art Deco Bar by adding a 24 ft wide x 9 ft high back bar featuring a background hutch with a mirror applique as the central background with indirect lighting. The bar itself was fronted with “up & down” fabric pleats to give the bar a vintage look.

We created additional Cheese Walls to create multiple entrances for guests to walk through as they moved around the event space. These 8ft wide x 10ft high Cheese Walls are accompanied by palm tree silhouettes to give that Miami Beach look. The Cheese Walls can also be used as a perimeter pieces, either way they are definitely a statement piece.
