Wandering Through the Swamp Marshes with MPI

MKE assisted MPI’s conference, by providing our infamous plumtackee swamp décor. The meeting professionals were able to have tons of swampy fun, while networking with other ‘gators’ and training for a marketable future.

For this event we featured our notorious specialty piece the Chokoloskee Truck. This is a full-size 12’ replica of 1947 Ford pick-truck that comes equipped with a vintage gas pump. For the event MPI creatively used this as a perimeter piece, yet it can be used as a centerpiece for refreshments, allowing attendees to fuel up before their business escapades.

Another piece they used was our Wreckers Bar. This backwater portable bar offered happy hour atop an eclectic collection of cargo crates, oyster bushel barrels, and the like. Additionally, bait buckets, oars and nets, and old cane poles round out the barn-board–backed vignette completed the official bayou look.

Highlighting the Stars of the Event Industry

“Star bright, Star light” with Florida Festivals and Events Association! MKE team had the honor of donating décor for the FFEA 20th Anniversary Conference & Tradeshow. This event helps promote and cultivate the festival, fair, and event industry in Florida, and we felt privileged to provide our décor for such a distinguished event with dedicated professionals.

For this event, they chose to use our accent Deco Chaselight Marquees for the entry way. These uniquely designed marquees are elevated on art deco themed pedestals reaching heights of 9’. FFEA chose to insert a customized agenda and graphics, so as attendees entered they knew the itinerary.

While attendees were making their way to the dinner they were greeted by the gold Star Sprays displayed by the ballroom entry. To complete the conference, FFEA had the Starbursts displayed on both sides of the stage.

Everyone had a fun time and the Convention & Tradeshow was a success. These professionals deserved countless recognition for their hard work.
