MKE had the opportunity to create an old-style western BBQ in celebration for its expansion of properties for Max King Reality. Of course with minimal limitations, we easily replicated the ole’ Wild West American frontier display, with our festive whip-cracking décor. Everyone truly had an entertaining time with the live music from the band, Facing Gravity and great food provided by the renowned Firehouse BBQ.
One of the main attractions was our ‘Italian Wagon’, which featured our 24’ of single sided buffet space provided directly from this 12’ long, 7’ wide, 9’ tall wagon. The wagon includes original items such as canteens, coffee boxes, cookware, lanterns, and antique travel trunks to make everyone feel like they have been dropped off in the good ole frontier. There was plenty zesty homemade Italian cuisine located on the side of the wagon.
With heat rising in the desert, we let attendees cool down and enjoy their BBQ with our trestle tables completed with a rustic ranch-plank design along with market umbrellas. For additional seating we provided our 30” diameter barrel hi-boy tables made of rustic wood planks and set atop whiskey barrels.
Award-winning Firehouse BBQ catered the event with the best brisket, ribs, and sweet peach baked beans. You might recognize them from TLC’s Pitmasters, as they have won and been on the show numerous times. For their buffet they used our rustic barrel buffet that is set atop full size whiskey barrels creating 14’ of table high double sided- themed buffet space. The food was absolutely FANTASTIC!
The band, Facing Gravity performed at the BBQ and were a huge hit! Some of the band members consisted of our very own Max King Events crew. Playing the bass was Bobby Galati our carpenter and Cameron Day our warehouse manager was rocking out on the drums.
