As guests walked towards the front doors they were greeted by our Road Carpet and Custom Entry. The theme of this year’s event was “Dancin’ in the Streets” so a custom header with graffiti style lettering was created. On either sides we used our cut-away brick walls that had been covered in paint splatters. To thank all the sponsors involved with this event we created custom street signs that listed all the sponsor names.
Once inside the event venue, guests got to check in at our full size New York style taxicab car front that was used as a registration table.
To start the night off, attendees were first directed into the silent auction room where they were able to bid on all the fabulous auction items. We utilized our Long Dark Wood Communal Tables as the auction tables which had been uplit with our wireless LED uplights.
Also included in the auction room were our Glow Bars that were perfect for serving guests some of their favorite beverages. Our 1900’s style street lamps replicas were placed around the venue to create some additional lighting and authenticity at the event.
The main Gala area featured five of our trendy “Foodie Truck” facades, along with our Buzz Bucket Trailer Bar. The nearly full sized, three sided replicas created brightly colored and fun food service stations. The trucks featured actual pass-through counters and chalkboard style menus.
Brick wall sections surrounding the perimeter displayed some of the students’ art pieces and class photos.
Chain link fencing and traffic lights were creatively hung from the ceilings in order to generate a true street-life ambiance.
We had a great time putting this event together and were pleased with the final product. It was a successful night raising money for the St. James Cathedral School and we were thrilled to be apart of it!
