A Gift for Teaching 2015 Back-2-School BLAST!

This year, the overall theme was “Name in Lights,” which was brought to life using our decor. We worked closely with the staff from A Gift for Teaching to come up with a playful room set up for guests to enjoy.

Upon entering the silent auction room, guests were greeted by our Marquee Entry, made to look like their very own replica of a Hollywood Cinema entry. Large chase lights and a back-lit header illuminated “A Gift For Teaching Back-To-School Blast” in authentic theater-style font. The entry was surrounded by red velvet ropes and silver stanchions to help complete a realistic red carpet look.

As guests walked the red carpet, they were taken into the “Ultimate Playroom,” where they could enjoy games, food, drinks, and fun! A Film Vignette included a vintage crank style camera on a tripod, an oversized movie clapboard, and a tall directors chair that formed a perfect photo op for the occasion.  The celebrity guest was Mario Lopez so we had to create a perfect hollywood photo op for guests to strike a pose with him. Slide1 A fully dimensional Rubik’s Cube created a station for guests to play Giant Jenga, while our massive block set and sports ball tower created yet another great opportunity for photos.

Guests entered the main room by walking through sparkling Gold Star Spray Arches that were stylishly lit. Our Oversized Star Walk Through backed the main stage that featured amazing guest speakers, such as, Mario Lopez and Layne Hooper. The walk through created a perfect frame behind the podium and truly brought the stage to life.

The event really came to life with all the fun décor, activities, and entertainment. And it was all done for a good cause! We could not have been happier to be a part of such a great charity!
